Tracked Metrics In Pool Open Water ### Heart rate See your heart rate in real-time and stay in the right zone. ### Pace Pace is the average time it takes you to swim 100m. Seeing your pace lap-by-lap lets you know how you are performing in the moment, and motivates you to hit the time you’ve been aiming for. Open Water: Pace for your workout is available when paired with a compatible [**Apple or Garmin Watch**](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047822373-Which-smartwatches-can-be-used-with-the-goggles-for-open-water-swimming-). Using average pace in open water you’ll stay on track and hit your target time. Swim Spa: Only available in partner [swim spas](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500001844661-Which-swim-spas-are-supported- "partner swim spas"). ### Stroke Rate Measured in the number of strokes you take in a minute (SPM) your stroke rate is the equivalent of RPM on a bike. This metric is updated every 1.5 seconds, enabling you to understand your output and keep a consistent speed. Keep it steady, and don't burn out. ### Time Track your moving and resting time automatically; no more pushing buttons as you hit the wall. Focus solely on your swim without distractions, and make the most of every lap. ### Distance Forget counting laps, see your distance (meters or yards) as you swim. Open Water: Available when paired with a compatible [Apple or Garmin Watch.](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047822373-Which-smartwatches-can-be-used-with-the-goggles-for-open-water-swimming- " Compatibility with Apple or Garmin Watch.") ### Calories burned Track calories burned while you swim and see the total amount when you're done. ### Stroke Count The number of arm strokes you take in a single length of the pool. Swimming with stroke count allows you to gauge your technique. The fewer strokes you take, the more efficient you are in the water. A reduced stroke count + increased stroke rate = Better speed. ### Distance Per Stroke (DPS) The distance in meters you travel with each stroke. This technique-focused metric allows you to prioritize the efficiency of each stroke. ### Split times Maintain a consistent pace by knowing how long it takes to swim each length. - ### UNMATCHED POST-SWIM DATA Get a detailed length-by-length breakdown, the data allows you to understand your strengths and weaknesses giving you areas to focus on so you can improve pace, and get motivated. - #### UNMATCHED POST-SWIM DATA - ### OPEN WATER MODE Use time and stroke rate to pace your swim leg perfectly or pair to a Garmin or Apple Watch to display GPS data such as pace per 100m. Knowing your distance swum is reassuring in open water conditions. - #### OPEN WATER MODE - ### GET CONNECTED Import your workouts and showcase your achievements to the world with your favorite fitness and social apps.
