See what’s happening as you swim, without stopping or breaking your rhythm. Tracked Metrics In Pool Open Water ### Pace Pace is the average time it takes you to swim 100m. Seeing your pace lap-by-lap lets you know how you are performing in the moment, and motivates you to hit the time you’ve been aiming for. Open Water: Pace for your workout is available when paired with a compatible [**Apple or Garmin Watch**](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047822373-Which-smartwatches-can-be-used-with-the-goggles-for-open-water-swimming-). Using average pace in open water you’ll stay on track and hit your target time. Swim Spa: Only available in partner [swim spas](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500001844661-Which-swim-spas-are-supported- "partner swim spas"). ### Stroke Rate Measured in the number of strokes you take in a minute (SPM) your stroke rate is the equivalent of RPM on a bike. This metric is updated every 1.5 seconds, enabling you to understand your output and keep a consistent speed. Keep it steady, and don't burn out. ### Time Track your moving and resting time automatically; no more pushing buttons as you hit the wall. Focus solely on your swim without distractions, and make the most of every lap. ### Distance Forget counting laps, see your distance (meters or yards) as you swim. Open Water: Available when paired with a compatible [Apple or Garmin Watch.](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047822373-Which-smartwatches-can-be-used-with-the-goggles-for-open-water-swimming- " Compatibility with Apple or Garmin Watch.") ### Calories burned Track calories burned while you swim and see the total amount when you're done. ### Stroke Count The number of arm strokes you take in a single length of the pool. Swimming with stroke count allows you to gauge your technique. The fewer strokes you take, the more efficient you are in the water. A reduced stroke count + increased stroke rate = Better speed. ### Distance Per Stroke (DPS) The distance in meters you travel with each stroke. This technique-focused metric allows you to prioritize the efficiency of each stroke. ### Split times Maintain a consistent pace by knowing how long it takes to swim each length. - ### SEE THE FULL PICTURE See how your swim comes together in the FORM app. Review your time, distance, pace, and more with clear insights that help you stay consistent and keep improving. - #### SEE THE FULL PICTURE - ### SWIM BEYOND THE POOL Take Smart Swim 2 LT into open water and stay on track wherever you swim. Review written in Shop App ## FAQ ### Who is Smart Swim 2 LT for? Smart Swim 2 LT is built for swimmers who want a simpler, more accessible way to swim smarter. Real-time data and coaching in your line of sight, without added complexity. It's a great fit for swimmers of any level who are focused on their health and maximizing their enjoyment of swimming - and don't need heart rate tracking. ### What's the difference between the three goggles? The main difference lies in the kind of swimming experience each model is built for. - **Smart Swim 2 LT** is the simplest and most accessible way to start with FORM. It’s built for swimmers who want a more engaging, guided swim experience without heart rate tracking. - **Smart Swim 2** adds an integrated heart rate monitor, giving swimmers more precision during training without the hassle of extra accessories. It’s the core FORM experience for swimmers who want real-time data in the water, heart-rate-based training, and detailed post-swim review in the FORM App. - **Smart Swim 2 PRO** includes everything in Smart Swim 2 while adding premium, ultra-durable lenses with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 for greater scratch resistance, fog-free clarity, and crystal-clear vision. ### What type of data can I view on the display? During your swim, you can view 8 real-time metrics directly in your goggles: pace, distance, time, stroke rate, stroke count, distance per stroke (DPS), split times, and calories burned. You can customize which metrics appear on your display through the accompanying FORM App. _Note: Smart Swim 2 LT does not include heart rate tracking. If heart rate-based training is important to you, take a look at_ [_Smart Swim 2_](https://ca.formswim.com/products/smart-swim-2-goggles) _._ ### Do the goggles work without Premium? Yes. FORM goggles work on their own, and Premium is optional. When activating the goggles, you’ll be prompted to start a free Premium trial, which you can cancel at any time in the FORM App. That said, the goggles and Premium are designed to work together as the FORM Swim System, with the goggles guiding you in the water, and Premium adding more structure, coaching, insight, and progress over time. ### What does Premium add? [Premium](/content/pages/premium "Premium"/index.html) is the deeper layer of the FORM Swim System. It adds more guidance, more structure, and more progress over time. It’s designed for swimmers who want more support before, during, and after every swim. ### Will they fit my face? Yes! The goggles come with 5 interchangeable nose bridges and a fully adjustable strap for a comfortable, leak-free fit. ### Can I use the goggles if I have a prescription If you have vision correction needs, the display can still be seen as it floats out in front of you and you don't need to focus on the metrics to read them. If your prescription is stronger than -2, you may have difficulty seeing the display, however users up to -3 have reported that the display is still visible for them. We recommend trying the goggles out for yourself - we have a 30 day return policy if they don't work out for whatever reason. ### How do I clean and maintain the goggles Rinse the goggles with fresh water after each use; please DO NOT touch the inside of the lenses. Store them in the protective case provided. [Full instructions](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022908574-How-do-I-clean-and-maintain-my-goggles) ### Do the smart swim goggles come with a warranty Yes, the Smart Swim 2 goggles come with a [two-year limited manufacturing warranty](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023444933-Limited-Warranty). ### What should I do if I experience any issues with my goggles?
