Tracked Metrics In Pool Open Water ### Heart rate See your heart rate in real-time and stay in the right zone. ### Pace Pace is the average time it takes you to swim 100m. Seeing your pace lap-by-lap lets you know how you are performing in the moment, and motivates you to hit the time you’ve been aiming for. Open Water: Pace for your workout is available when paired with a compatible [**Apple or Garmin Watch**](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047822373-Which-smartwatches-can-be-used-with-the-goggles-for-open-water-swimming-). Using average pace in open water you’ll stay on track and hit your target time. Swim Spa: Only available in partner [swim spas](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500001844661-Which-swim-spas-are-supported- "partner swim spas"). ### Stroke Rate Measured in the number of strokes you take in a minute (SPM) your stroke rate is the equivalent of RPM on a bike. This metric is updated every 1.5 seconds, enabling you to understand your output and keep a consistent speed. Keep it steady, and don't burn out. ### Time Track your moving and resting time automatically; no more pushing buttons as you hit the wall. Focus solely on your swim without distractions, and make the most of every lap. ### Distance Forget counting laps, see your distance (meters or yards) as you swim. Open Water: Available when paired with a compatible [Apple or Garmin Watch.](https://support.formswim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047822373-Which-smartwatches-can-be-used-with-the-goggles-for-open-water-swimming- " Compatibility with Apple or Garmin Watch.") ### Calories burned Track calories burned while you swim and see the total amount when you're done. ### Stroke Count The number of arm strokes you take in a single length of the pool. Swimming with stroke count allows you to gauge your technique. The fewer strokes you take, the more efficient you are in the water. A reduced stroke count + increased stroke rate = Better speed. ### Distance Per Stroke (DPS) The distance in meters you travel with each stroke. This technique-focused metric allows you to prioritize the efficiency of each stroke. ### Split times Maintain a consistent pace by knowing how long it takes to swim each length. - ### CORNING® GORILLA® GLASS Built to go the distance, Gorilla® Glass keeps up with your pace—day after day, year after year. • Scratch-resistant • Damage-resistant • Lightweight - #### CORNING® GORILLA® GLASS Built to go the distance, Gorilla® Glass keeps up with your pace—day after day, year after year. • Scratch-resistant • Damage-resistant • Lightweight - ### UNMATCHED POST-SWIM DATA Get a detailed length-by-length breakdown, the data allows you to understand your strengths and weaknesses giving you areas to focus on so you can improve pace, and get motivated. - #### UNMATCHED POST-SWIM DATA - ### SPRAY INCLUDED. Happy swimming! ## TRUSTED BY THE PROS ### KRISTIAN BLUMMENFELT “FORM makes it easy to get an understanding of what’s going on, during a session. This is a crucial part of training, and it’s why I trust FORM to power my swim training". ### GUSTAV IDEN “One of the reasons I’ve always performed better on the bike and in a run is the constant feedback. Now I can get that data in the water, and optimize my effort and intensity.” ### SKYE MOENCH “The FORM goggles are simply my favourite tool in the water. They engage me during the swim and push me to go harder.” ### AARON ROYLE “I am genuinely blown away by what you can see and do with the technology. It’s a game changer, similar to when the power meter was introduced in cycling.” ### LIONEL SANDERS “The FORM goggles are the single best training aid to come to swimming, and I can’t imagine doing another swim without them!” ### EMMA PALLANT-BROWNE “Having the feedback displayed in front of me in real time gives me more motivation and really improved my swimming this year.” ### Do I need to apply anti-fog for every swim? Yes — and here’s why. We chose Gorilla® Glass for clarity and long-term durability. But because anti-fog coatings don’t bond permanently to glass, a quick spray is needed before each swim. Day 1 clarity is the same on day 1000. ### Does the anti-fog spray work? Yes. We tested all the leading sprays on glass, and found that a simple mix of water and baby shampoo delivered the best anti-fog performance — hands down — with no eye irritation. It works across all conditions: cold water, warm air, long sessions, and high effort. ### Does Smart Swim 2 PRO come with anti-fog spray? Yes. It includes a ready-to-use spray (35 swims worth), and a bottle of concentrate for top-ups — enough to last 140 swims. ### What happens if I run out? Mix 25% baby shampoo with 75% water. Don’t have baby shampoo handy? You can use other sprays, or even spit to keep your vision clear. ### What safety measures and durability standards do the Smart Swim 2 PRO lenses meet? Safety is always a major concern for us. Similar to smartwatches using glass faces, Smart Swim 2 PRO lenses are built to be exceptionally durable. We use Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 for the lenses and have developed a custom lens housing with a protective lip around the edge of the external eye cup, shielding the lens from any impact. We’ve tested them to meet the ISO 18527-3:2020 standard, which includes a steel ball (22mm diameter, 43g) being dropped from a height of 1.27 meters. The lenses passed and exceeded this impact test without breaking. In addition, unlike tempered glass, our goggles have an anti-shatter film on the lens which, in the unlikely event of a breakage, ensures that small pieces of glass do not fall off. www.formswim.com # www.formswim.com is blocked This page has been blocked by an extension - Try disabling your extensions.
